Initially the water can take several hours to heat up. This is partially due to the amount of power that can be pulled from a standard 110v/120v outlet and will depend upon the starting temperature of the water and exterior air temperatures. Yes, all spas come with a cover. Its is highly recommended to keep the spa cover on while not in use to prevent debris from falling into the spa. The cover is insulated and will also help ensure the water temperatures remains high.
The water temperature should rise about 2 degrees per hour. Environmental factors will affect this rate. We recommend keeping the cover on whenever you are not using spa and especially when you are heating the water. You can also keep the water temperature at a moderate temperature so that the time to get to the desired spa temperature is reduced.
